Going back to her roots, as listed on Facebook, Crystal Hunt was born on February 2, 1985 in Clearwater Florida. She started her journey to stardom at 6 months old, when she was entered in pageants. To secure her future in the industry, FamousBirthdays points out that Ms. Hunt was enrolled in acting and singing lessons as a child.
Ultimately, these lessons paid off and Ms. Hunt landed the role as the daughter on Problem Child 2, in 1991. She went on to star in television commercials and worked along side of stars such as, Tom Hanks and N-Sync.
In 2003, she auditioned for the role of Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light. Her role was a misguided teenager, who could be angelic yet devious when needed. However, due to her age she wasn’t given a contract right away; she was placed in recurring status. That all changed in 2004, when Ms. Hunt was given contract status. Crystal Hunt was nominated for Best Young Actress in 2005, for her role on Guiding Light.
Ms. Hunt has appeared in several films since her debut on Guiding Light. She performed side by side with Zac Efron in the film, The Derby Stallion. She co-starred in the romantic comedy Sydney White along side Amanda Bynes.
In 2009, she returned to television playing the role of the devious stripper, Stacy Morasco on One Life to Live. She stayed with the show for three years after her return to television, from there she went on to star in other films.
She co-starred with Dania Ramirez, Arielle Ubbel and Eva Ross in a lionsgate film, The Underground. From here, Ms. Hunt went on to star in Queens of Drama, as herself. While she was filming Queens of Drama, Ms. Hunt split her time between Los Angeles and Savannah Georgia. This time was spent as a co-star on Magic Mike XXL.
Her Career, however, wasn’t just spent acting, she’s also a photographer, and Ms. Hunt also co-produced Talbot Country with her best friend, Dania Ramirez. However, acting and producing isn’t her only accomplishments, she owned My Pets Dream Boutique in her hometown.
Who would of known that this native of Clearwater, Florida would have gotten her shot at stardom at such a young age, and yet go on to do great things. She is truly a well-rounded star.
